Snowmobiling in the North Arm Hills

On March 11, IATNL chairperson Paul Wylezol and treasurer Kevin Noseworthy traveled by snowmobile to the North Arm Hills north of the Bay of Islands to survey a possible IATNL trail route over the hills to Chimney Cove Valley and Trout River beyond.
A side trail would extend to the border of Gros Morne National Park above the south side of Trout River Pond, where hikers would gain a spectacular view of the Tablelands and Pond. Email us for information about snowmobiling in Western Newfoundland.
